She's so stressed out!! It's killing me inside Missy is always lying around or sleeping. And at times, she literally has tears pouring down from my eyes. I dunno if she's depressed because the swelling is hurting her? but she's getting dextabs as an anti-inflammation, or is she stressed out that she went into shock and got scared at the same time? I don't know what it is. Could she be uncomfortable that she hasn't showed in a while, because she got spayed and the stitchings are still there and her head injury? I wish I can take her a bath, maybe she'll feel more alive. Other than that, it's probably 4 a half days since her tragic accident. How long do you guys think she'll get back to form (all happy and active) this is sad to see... i want her happy.... it makes me think she'll stay like this for some reason..... it's hurting me to see her like this. Maybe I'm just really impatient? but the reason why i feel like this is because she's always been so active... the only time she is alert and excited is for food, which gets me thinking. help... its killing me Last edited by Tina_Luvs_Missy; 06-22-2007 at 07:47 AM.

Tina what happened?? i must have missed that thread!!! could it be the medication that is mellowing her out. I know layla has always reacted terribly to meds and is always out of it after taking them. Again, i don't know what happened but i remember a while back someones yorkie accidentily fell off the counter and she took a few days to come around from the shock and stuff.. i really hope missy feels better soon.. maybe you want to ask you vet what he/she thinks?

ok i just read your post about what happened... i'd say give her some time to recover from that... and to me it sounds normal... i had a concussion last year ... and she may have one too... and i had headaches for a month... so she might too... poor thing. Layla and i send big hugs!

I dont know what happened either so will have to go find the thread but either way I hope she gets to feeling better and back to herself in no time. I know sometimes it is harder on us than it is on them.

Poor baby. Prayer's coming that she feels better and get's back to her lively old self. Hang in there. She has really been through some rough times maybe it will take alittle longer for her to recover. Hugs,

Thanks for the prayers & comfort! Missy is slowly getting back to her old self!! lol she always wants a belly rub tho... alwaysssssssssss!!! sometimes she wants to play rough (like make fast circles and lean down 'pretending' to attack me) but I usually stop her because she still hasn't recovered fully.
