| My vet gives their shots on the back below their necks but I know when he does the bump stays there for sometimes over a week. |

| When Missy got her Rabies shot, she had a small bump and it went away within a week or so. |

| I had the same thing, a girl who works in my building, and found out later breeds yorkies (wish i had known that one, haha) told me to rub it lightly and that it was probably from the shots. I did and the bump went away, although if it bothers her stop rubbing! haha

| The same thing happened to my sister's yorkie, but the bump didn't go away. She took her back to the vet and Sophie ended up having a Staph infection that had to be drained and then she had to be put on antibiotics. So, a bump is normal, but if it doesn't go away after a week, I would strongly suggest that you take her back to the vet. GOOD LUCK! And CoNgRaTs on your new addition! |
