| distemper vaccine. Hey there. Jersey had her second distemper vaccine today. She had not trouble with the first, and seemed alright initially when she got this one however, tonight she is throwing up. She got the shot at 10:30am this morning and seemed fine all day. She ate tonight at 4pm and seemed fine still and now about an hour agao (9pm) she threw up undigested chicken. She threw up quite a few times and is now sleeping. Does this seem like it's the vaccine or something else? Thanks. Elaine |

| Poor Jersey, hope she'll be all better after getting some rest tonight. I've never had them vomit after their shots, but I'm sure it's possible. Winston was just kinda tired all day if I remember right. Prayers to you and Jersey...Get Well soon baby girl...

| Thanks Kathy (Wemple) Jersey seems back to herself today. Not sure if it may have been a combination of the shot and the heat or maybe just that the chicken didn't sit well on her. Thanks for your good thoughts. Elaine |

| Bella threw up after she got a few shots a few weeks ago. Like immediately after. I think she just all worked up, she was fine afterwards. My vet told me they sometimes have reactions to the shots but that didn't seem to be Bella's issue.

| that sounds like exactly what cody is going through. He had his second distemper this morning and it made him really tired (slept pretty much the rest of the day) he didn't eat his lunch or dinner, but he had some treats in the afternoon and he threw up on me (yuck) around 9 or 10 tonight, all the food was undigested I hope it was the shot and that he'll be better tomorrow because I'm really worried about him |

| late last night he started perking up a little eating food (but I didn't let him eat much because of the time and because i didn't know how he'd handle it) He was somewhat interested in food this morning so I'm going to just watch him and see if he keeps it down. If he doesn't, Miss Vet is getting a call and maybe a visit... |

| It sounds like he's a little better, but yes, if he's still not up to par, I'd def call the vet.
