wobbly and falling over my yorkie is very wobbly, she isnt standing well and is being very skiddish. she isnt licking which she normally does all the time. can anyone help? |
How old? Has she eaten? Do you have nutrical or Kayro syrup? DOes she feel colder than usual? SOunds like possible Hypoglycemia....most common in Yorkies so I would) assume its that and treat that first. (id say it the most common for those symptoms) If you have Kayro rub some on her gums right away and try to get her to eat. |
Rub some Nutrical, Karo, or Honey on her gums and then get her to a vet ASAP!!!! This is very serious. |
http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6016 Here is a link to a explaination of Hypoglycemia. Please update us on how your baby is. please. My baby has hypo too so this one hits close to home :( |
Please let us know how your puppy is doing. This is very scary when this happens to babies!! |
Hopefully you saw the above advice and your baby is better. |

I did not ask what is hypoglycemia. LOL :) I said was it hypoglycemia that her baby had?? It could be liver shunt or a million other things, I'm hoping it was just a hypoglycemic episode. My baby had severe hypoglycemia when he was a pup..He had to be fed every hour... |

LOL :) It's okay. I know when I'm reading posts sometimes I read too fast and do the same thing. Haha :) |
It did sound like it could have been hypoglycemia, liver shunt, or a neurological problem which is why I recommended that she get to a vet immediately. I'm really worried. I hope everything is okay. |
