| Worms?? My yorkie Bella is almost six months old. She has had all of her shots to date, and each visit she was given worm medicine. I noticed that lately she has been scooting her butt along the floor. I wasn't sure why, I keep it clean. Today I noticed little white worm looking things. What kind of worms are these and why does she have them if she was wormed at the vet? Thanks you for your help. Ashley |

| Re:Worms My Little Nina was doing the same I thought it was because the Gland being swollen or full of that nasty stuff so I took her to vet I am a crazy mom if she sneeezes I take her come to find out that she had worms if its little looking like rice its Tape worm due to a flea she has gotten ingested sounds gross but its true.. and I just had her wormed last month at Vets and you can not buy over counter for worming for those. but she was on frontline for fleas and ticks and the vet told me to go ahead and put her on heart guard also .. I am in Missouri and heartworms are really bad they say 1 out of 25 dogs here will have heartworms because owners dont put them on heart guard. but tape worms your puppy can get with one flea no matter what they are on. I hope this helps and she is feeling better Good Luck Dionna and Nina |
