Monday 14/ Mickeys update with Pic's 3 Attachment(s) Well I wanted to share the little bit what happened here today. I prayed god please show me a sign that my little mickey is getting better or if hes getting worse. and I looked over at Mickey and he walked over to a peice of dry dog food Minnie had dug out of the dish and left lay. he picked it up tossing it in the air and looked at me and ate it. I know that was my sign. I hugged him and thanked the lord above.and went and got him some food witch he ate on his own and than he drank his water and than he peed the biggest pee spot Id had seen come from him sense his surgery. Hers a few pictures of my baby boy today. and at looking at these pictures the bruising really shows up. maybe its the flash but once I got them on my computer , I had to go flip him back over and look again, because the pictures show more then what I can see by eye. weird huh? |
1 Attachment(s) heres one of him coming back from getting some water His face is wet cause he was drinking water. and he shut his eyes when the flash went off. But hes up and moving around some. |
thanks for the update. those bruises look terrible but bruises will heal. Just so glad to hear he is better. Prayers for a continued healing process. |

Ouch, that really does look like it hurts, poor baby :excited: :clapsmile :hands: Oh Mickey, I've never been so happy to hear anything in my life...keep on fighting little man, YOU CAN BEAT THIS!!! He drank water, he ate food and he peed, life is good, or at least better...I just know if he's able to keep stuff down, he'll get stronger, he's one tough little guy. His incision looks like it's healing okay, how long before he gets his stitches out, or will they absorb? I have been thinking of you guys a lot, still sending lots of prayers, I even made a wish upon the 1st star tonight for Mickey. There's a whole lot of people here pulling for him, we all want him well again, and soon would be nice...Hugs to you, kisses to Mickey, from me & Winston |

another small update. It's the poo I have been waiting on sense yesterday,lol... Now I have a sample to take to the vets. woohoo and Im so happy to say it was not black, it was dark brown and very small, but it didnt look any thing like that black tar stuff he did the other day. I bet it was from his meds, |
Oh thank God! That is wonderful news!!! I'm so glad you got "your sign" and it was just what you asked for!! Poor little man - it looks so painful. I just wanna hug him and give him kisses! Judging by the pics, It gives me the willies just thinking about how painful it must have been for Mickey to just move, let alone pee or poop. I'm so happy he's dooing so much better. The old "Hey Mickey" song keeps going thru my head: "Hey Mickey, you're so fine, you're so fine, you blow my mind" GO MICKEY, GO MICKEY!! Will keep praying for a speedy and total recovery. |
All I could think about when I saw the pics was OUCH ~! :eek: Bless his heart - that pooooooor little tummy. I'm so glad he's up on his own eating and drinking and will keep him in my thoughts....That's wonderful news ...but man girl - that bruising looks really bad. Poor baby - what a little trooper he is...When does he go back to the vet ??? |

Poor Mickey, those pictures say it all. He must have been in so much pain. He sure is a strong little fighter with a will to live. Thank heavens YT prayer's came through again. Thank you for the update. Keep peeing up a storm Mickey. Mommy don't even care if she has to clean it up:) Eat, eat, eat sweetie and get better. |
Oh, bless that little Mickey. I check every day, hoping for a good update - and this was a good one! I just get tears in my eyes when I see this little fella and think of all that he's endured. You are such a good momma to him! My positive little prayer is that each moment, with every breath - Mickey feels better and better! Go Mickey!!!! |

Well When hubby came home from work he said there set to little Yorkies in the window waiting for him. He said he was so shocked to see mickey up on the back of the couch looking out the window waiting on him to get home like he use to. And when I got up he was laying on his blanket on the floor and he saw me get up and rolled over on his back for a tummy rub and his little stub wagging a mile a minute. I got down and rubbed his little tummy and he would reach up and kiss me. awww its so nice to see him feeling better. he still walks very slow and sleeps alot,and as I said before I took him off of all his meds but two. because I think thats why he was throwing up so much. well the two that he must take is still making him sick . but he has to have those, so Im going to check with the vet and see if theres a different kind he can try. |
Wow thanks for that wonderful update!! Go Mickey :) I'm so happy that you can see that he's improving. I truly believe that those meds were making him sick also. That's what happened with Miko too. Keep us posted! I know you will. Take care, and we're still praying!! Prayers are powerful :) |
