Yeah me and 999 other people are hearing it over and over again in our heads...People would think I was crazy if I sang it out loud...HaHaHa...But I'd do it if I really thought it would help...really...
If it was the medications that was making him sick all this time, why didn't the vet tell you that...and suggest something else? Maybe he just needs to recuperate from his surgery before he starts anything new, I sure don't want him to start puking again. But at least his poop isn't tarry now, wonderful news!!! Can't hardly believe he was up on the couch looking out the window, I bet your husband was in shock. And maybe his incision is healing so well
that it actually felt good to have his belly rubbed...
Maybe, just maybe our prayers have been answered, I feel blessed...I'm going to keep on praying though, it sure won't hurt...Don't want God to think we're done yet, not 'til he's totally back to his normal self...Winston just came running in here, as if to say "Tell Mickey to get well real soon from me too". Hugs and kisses to Mickey from us both!!!:woof: :woof: :mademyday :bighug:

WOW! I was reading the thread about his insision, which brought me to this thread. I saw the 1st pictures & felt Mickey's pain. As I continued to read & see updates he looked so much better. Praying he continues to heal, & is able to keep his food down. Poor little guy.

I'm so glad to hear Mickey is up and around. What a tough little guy. He is one macho dude!:cool:

And thanks for planting that "earworm" with the Toni Basil song. What's funny for me though is that I can hear my friends singing it in high school to ME, modifying the lyrics to "Hey, Nikki..." when teasing me about the BF at the time.

well we had to feed him through the syringe again today. He just didnt want to eat, and hes came this far and is looking so much better, I just dont want him slipping back to the way he was. so we will keep pumping in the food an dhope for the best. Thanks everyone.

Just keep doing what you have to do, but I sure wish he'd eat on his own. I can't even think of anything to suggest trying. Sorry. Did he manage to keep down what he ate yesterday? How's his pee flowing, and did he poop today? It seems like he has one pretty good day, then it takes him another day to get back to where he was. I'd love to hear you say "he's out of the woods", 100% back to the Mickey he was before he got sick. We, Winston and I, are still hoping that he will recover, we gotta keep the faith and we can't give up...Encouragement, that's what YOU need, and I pray every day that you'll get it, signs, any little signs of improvement. Keep your chin up, reach for the stars, it is possible.:hands: :getwell: Hugs to you & Mickey...
