Mickey and I want to say Thank you once again, We just cant thank you all enough for being there for us. Im so glad I had you all to lean on, Its been so hard and very stressful,and I dont think I could of done it with out all of you. so I wanted to say Thank you to each and every one of you, but as you can see below with everyones good thoughts and praryers and donations it would probaly take me all year. so Im just going to do it all in one thread and I hope you all understand. updating on all thats going on. He keeping most of his food down yesterday and today, he did get sick once today two piles. The good news is his insicion is looking good and healing great, No swelling no redness. the bruising is starting to fade out now. Hes drinking some on his own, but I still srynge pedlite down him after he takes his pills and other meds and inbetween the syringe feeding, his eyes look brighter today, but he lays most of the time. I dropped two of his meds, they seemed to make him worse and keeping him on the acid pills for his tummy and the antibiotics and the pain meds once a day instead of 3 x's aday. The bad news is he has lost a lot of weight going from 5 lb -3lbs hes not eating at all on his own he did two days but after throwing it up each time its like he just quit eating. he still moans and crys when peeing and he only seems to get out a few srops each time. we was suppose to be at the vets this morning but I had to change it until later today. I have made a huge list on what to ask the vet, I dont want to forget any thing. Theres has been no more black stuff when he poos, but he hasent pooped today, Im waiting on that so I can take a sample in to the vet with us. I put this update on my other threads that I had also started sense this all started with Mickey. I wish I would of stayed with one thread instead of 4 . lol It makes it harder to keep up. and Im sorry for that. If admin wants to close those threads, its fine with me. and would make it a lot easier. |
I am so glad he is feeling better although not eating yet without throwing up. No wonder he won't eat. He knows what will happen if he does. Smart little ones aren't they? You have been through hell and back this last week girl and Mickey is so very lucky to have you take such good care of him. Thank heavens that incision is healing, it was scary to look at. Prayer's coming that he continues to get better each and every day and eats for you very soon on his own and keeps it down. Poor little one has been through so much in such a short time. Stay tough Mickey and get back to your old self real soon. Hugs, |
I keep thinking of little Mickey...hoping that he is doing better. I'm still saying a prayer for him now and then to keep him on track. |

That was very sweet ( and time consuming ;) ) to list everyone.. We are all just glad he's ok and getting better.. I even thought of him over the weekend.. just wondering. |

Debbie, You are more than welcome, I am fairly new here at YT, but for some reason, I felt a strong connection to you and what you're going thru with little Mickey. I knew that the strength you needed to pull him thru this was going to be overwhelming, I just did not want you to give up on him, he's been thru so much. Keep your chin up and a smile on your face, we'll get thru this sooner or later...but sooner would be super. Hugs!!! |

Hey girl. Your welcome, and I'm blessed that I've been here to help and offer support and encouragement. We are still praying for hiim and are thrilled that he is making improvements every day :D Villette - thank you so much for heading up the donation thing - I wanted to, but wasn't sure where to go or how to get it started. And I know you're going through a lot also.... Though sometimes it's nice to put other people's needs first and help them, kinda helps forget what's going on in my own life, you know? I know I've had it rough, but the 2 things I DO have are my husband and my precious babies. I couldn't imagine anything happening to any of them - if either of you need anything else, let me know. I can't make any promises, but I'll see what I can do :D |

With all that Mickey has been through, Major surgery, xrays, blood test sedated 4 times. washed out three times six different meds, three different prescription foods. re-examinnations, Kidney funtion test, urinary calculi analysis. lab test.an injection. 6 different trips to the ER Hospital.the extra stuff we had to pick up for him. it all came to a little over a 1,000 now and Im happy to say that the donations everyone sent us helped with over half of that bill. So I want to thank you all again for your help. Mickey goes back in the 21st but that shouldnt be much at all. and if the vet would of knew what the problem was when I first took him in instead of saying it was gas, then he wouldnt of had to go in so many times.or suffered for as long as he has. |
Well, I think everyone is just glad they could help and to hear that Mickey is on the mend. God knows when they are as ill as he has been, having to worry about money on top of it is something none of us need.;) I told Ozzie all about Mickey last week and you should see the looks I get! It's almost like he can feel how bad it must have been. So, we continue to send you VERY positive thoughts and lots of prayers. |
Well we brought him a dish of the stray animals food that we keep in the garge,Its not a good brand of food, but for some reason he wanted it bad. Mickeys been begging for it, he ate alot more then hes ate sense the surgery. and than about 20 mintues later here he is digging in the toy box for his squeeky toy bone and comes prancing through the room with it in his mouth,ready to play |
