YAY!!!!!

Pancreatitus results are in and the level has gone from 388 down to mid-30's.

Milo is in the clear and officially declared back to normal by the vets office.

Of course he's been back to bouncing off the walls since the second day home---but they needed to have lab back-up.;)

Nothing but the leanest meats that have been boiled or poached in low sodium organic chix broth in his future. :thumbup:

That's GREAT NEWS !!!!!!!!!!! I know it's not the best diagonsis to hear Pancreatitus but it's good to know what you're dealing with and yay on his levels going down !

WOW! This is incredible. Just read an update on Mickey and was trying to check up on a few other "sickies" including Milo and voila!

Seems to be good news all around today. SO glad to hear it!

With pancreatitis -- which our first Yorkie had -- diet is very important. We switched him to home food around age 8 or 9 and had no more troubles with it.

Good luck to little Milo and you, too!

what kind of home food did you do ?? and Milo - again :) I'm so happy you're finally home and feeling better

poor milo, i know how u have been felling, I get so upset when Rolly is poorly. I cant bear to lose my rolly, Im dreading the day it comes.

Im so worried about rolly's new illness & knoe exactly how you are feeling.

Boiled chicken and beef (ground chuck or round), fish, rice, green beans, carrots, peas, noodles ... lots of good stuff.

thank you !! That's pretty much what I'm doing now and worried there was too much protien in chicken...I stay clear of beef but they do get a little chicken & a few noodles and veggies too ....Chanel had a little scare with slightly elevated levels when she had a sick tummy so I want to make sure she stays nice and healthy....Thank you.

Yes---I could not be happier!

I can't even imagine my life without him in it at this point-----I remember knowing we had fully bonded when he looked in my eyes one day.

Before that he would never look directly into my eyes---I know it was his giving way to me as pack leader, but still.

Now I get "that look" everyday--kinda like how The Hubster looks at me, and it melts me everytime.

Milo eats pretty much the same--also very lean ground buffalo which he LOVES. He is big on cheese too and loves to eat fresh greens-- romaine, baby spinach, radichio--- loves his salad.:rolleyes:
