I think I have some in my medicine cabinet. I need to apply it to all areas, right? Nose, ears, and scrotum. |

Bathe him first and dry him real good, a bath in a medicated shampoo....Tegrin T-Gel would be the best and the fastest to obtain....careful with his eyes.....make sure his bedding is washed daily....it isn't contagious, but to be on the safe side...make sure any brushes, combs you use on him are sanitized before using them on any other dog. |
Yep thats leather ear. I went thru it with Brandy. We just had it on the ear tips but I've heard it can show up on the muzzle and tail so I would imagine scrotum sack as well. I cleaned the areas with alchohol on cotton balls and rubbed in the 2% lotrimin cream about twice a day and it cleared up in a couple weeks and all the hair grew back. Dandruff shampoo is a good antifungal. If I were you I would bathe him in dandruff shampoo and apply the lotrimin cream (I got mine at the drugstore for a couple bucks). |
Thank's Thank's I Have The Same Problem W/ My Dog ,i'm Gonna Try To See If This Help ,how Long You Think That It Takes To See If This Is Helping ..... |

Probably not. It's not that easy to get rid of....It's never been identified as a fungus or an infection...... It does affect silk coats......dogs in humid climates or exposed to to extreme cold....keeping your dogs warm and dry is a good preventative, but even with that you never know. |
I heard that listerene (spelling?) helps too. Never tried it only the lotramin. |
