| Vomiting after Vaccination My little yorkie went to the vet last week to get her 2nd puppy shot. She was 12 & 1/2 weeks old. Everything went fine at the vet's and throughout that day(just a little sore where they injected it). However, the following day she became very sick, vomiting every few minutes for awhile. I had to call the vet and they said it sometimes happens. Has this kind of thing happened to anyone else's little one? I'm scared to take her back for her final shot next month! |

| Small dogs get the same amount of serum as a very large dog, and it's so wrong and so dangerous. My little 15 year old Chihuahua almost died when she got shots at 12 weeks old. She hasn't had any since. http://www.wholisticanimal.com/petvaccinations.html http://www.canine-epilepsy-guardian-...techtiters.htm http://www.shirleys-wellness-cafe.com/nosodes.htm |

| Our little girl got sick with her second set of shots. She vomited and we had to bring her back to the vet for a shot of something to settle her stomach and something to hyrdrate her. I talked to the vet before she had her last set of shots and they assured me they would pretreat her so that she wouldn't get the same reaction. I was worried, but I made sure when my husband took her in that I talked to the vet's office and confirmed that they knew she was to have the pretreatment. Well, it all went well and she was perfectly fine afterward, thank heavens. We also opted not to do the rabies vaccine and the other shots on the same day. We separated them so that it wouldn't be so hard on her system. |

| If you're having the shots done, it's best to space them out...Try not to get the vaccinations that are not necessary ie. lepto...Depending on your area. http://www.rabieschallengefund.org/page4.html Read this...
