| ![]() Hi there! Im a new mama..of Lola...shes 12 weeks old now, had her for a few weeks, and Im starting to notice a few things Im unsure about love some help from fellow Yorkie owners!! Well...the vet gave me the Nutri-cal...and she threw it up, cant give her that...so thought that was odd, since its supposed to be good for them. She seems to be eating pretty well, havent noticed any hypo type activity in her yet. Any other suggestions? The vet said the Karo syrup could give them the runs really bad. She just had her 2nd set of shots, and told the vet she sneezes a lot, could be getting used to the new environment, weather, etc. and to give her benadryl. She throws that up too! Also notices she does that weird sneezing thing, not like a normal sneeze, sounds almost like throwing up, but not the collapsed trach thing. She'll just do it from time to time, not after eating or drinking or activity, sounds like shes breathing in the sneeze. Anything that causes that and to help it? And any other advice for a new Yorkie mama?? Never been so stressed! ![]() |

| ![]() If you are worried about Hypo and you can't use Nutrical or Karo syrup... try honey nut cherios. Mine loved them as treats and they still do today... the little bit of sugar in the honey will keep their levels normal. That is how I potty trained and taught the pups a few tricks. Just a thought ![]()

| ![]() My Punkin has the reverse sneezing thing. The vet says it is a normal thing and lots of small dogs have it. Don't worry ![]() |
