:sickie: Sooo sorry about your baby, but I agree amputation will be my last resource. And please don't worry about your english, my is not good at all, prayers are going your way:hands: poor baby |
Thank you! Hi I wish to thank each and everyone of you for your answers!!! The veterinary is a orthopedic specialist, one of the best in Sweden. Before he took care of her, another orthopedic specialist also looked at her. She have had pins as well and that looked okey but she got an infection so they had to be removed at once. (She is still on antibiotic) The vet told me that small dogs have problems to heal their legs because of something I not can explain in english sorry :( I will try in "swenglish" tho, so maybe you can understand a bit of what I mean. Inside the bone is something called bonemass, and that has to grow so the bone can heal. The blood are not circulating as fast on a small dog as one a big one" I have found some articles on Internet about amputation and that calmed me down a bit. If anyone wish I can copy/paste it here or send you the URL. Love from Vivi :aimeeyork |
