Amber, I was so shocked to see your thread this am. I'm so sorry this is happening to little Daisy. Seems like she's having a really rough time. You did good catching it AND making the pharmicist pay. Hugs are being sent yours and Daisy's way and prayers that all will be well!

Oh my goodness Amber, I am so sorry for poor little Daisy it has been rough for her. Just know that she will still be in our prayers. Please keep us updated on her situation.....The pharamacy should of rechecked the medication!! When me and Bailey was at the vet earlier this week while I was at the counter to check out they had some other people at the other counter ,well one of the receptionist gave 2 bottle of pills to the woman WELL good thing she looked because she said (can't think of the dogs name so I will use "sally" she said, "Sally can't swallow these pills they are WAY to large for her," so the receptionist said "oh well sure she can maybe even break them up," the other receptionist tending to me overheard and said "NO that is not for Sally thats for Jacob :eek: so you see how things can go if the pills where not large the lady would of taken the pills home and gave them to Sally. Vet, Pharmacist, Doctors, Nurses and whoever else is in the medical field need to play close attention especially when they are administring medicines......Oh if that was ME that the receptionist had gave the wrong medicine to and caused my baby damage or down the line problems, not to EVEN think about the worst :mad: put it to you this way this WOULDN'T be the last they would see of me! Someone made a good point what if it was a CHILD, a pup is bad enough I can't even IMAGINE if it was a CHILD! I hope all of this gets better and all that you have gone through can just be a bad dream in the past........Take Care...YOU & DAISY!! :hug:

Amber - I am so sorry you are going through all this. Thank God you noticed the dosage was wrong and she didn't get all the medication. We'll be sending big hugs, and lots of prayers for both you and little Daisy.

Oh Amber, poor Daisy...:( This just breaks my heart and angers me that this pharmacy could be so irresponsible!:mad: I am praying for Daisy and your family.

I am so sorry to hear this about Daisy, keeping her and you in my prayers.

I am so very sory to hear about Daisy. This is such a case of neglect and carelessness on the part of the pharmacy that it is criminal. The fact that a sweet puppy has been hurt instead of a child doesn\'t make it any better, I know we all make mistakes; but when you have someones life in your hands, you double check yourself always, not just sometimes. Thank God you are the loving mother you are, and were aware that something just didn\'t seem right. My prayers are with you, please keep us informed of her progress.:daisy: :daisy:

you noticed the dosage and just may have saved little Daisy\'s life!
Prayer\'s coming for both of you. YT prayers are very strong. Daisy
seems like a fighter all the way. Keep fighting little one, we are all
praying for you. It\'s very scary that we have to monitor our own health
care because doctor\'s,hospitals, & pharmacies continue to make
stupid mistakes! I pray that this one has a happy ending.
