Yay! This just makes my day! When she's all better and this is just a bad memory, please post lots of pictures of her. I can't wait to see her in her little dress:) |
Pictures Awwww you are so sweet! I will !!!Bad memory is right.I have learned to always ask for help, trust my instincts, continue to be persistant and continue to ask in faith. |
Hello! Glad to hear your baby is better! Thank God right? Chuey is also on a bunch of antibiotics, (see my post in sick) so I worry about that too. He is just a little smaller than your girl so I know how delicate they can be! This info really helps me look-out for any sickies that try to get my baby! Keep us posted! |
Delicate is is right.I will read your post.Hope your baby is all better soon. |
Waiting for Neurologist Results........ My little girl went to the Neurologist today. We are waiting on the results of her test which were 1) Tick Serology 2)Toxoplasmosis 3)Neosporum Canium 4)Cryptococcus.Her previous 5 vet visits found ear mites and yeast which are healing however she is still circling when standing.Infection may be causing her to circle these test will provide the answer if so.The Neurologist says if the blood test don't produce answers the next thing we could do is to put her to sleep and have an MRI.Theres a great risk at losing her due to her tiny tiny size. This is heart breaking.Lord have mercy:( After the first vet visit we contacted the breeder and made them aware of her condition.Which at that time was her ears. The reply from the breeder was we could have her sister.Well we love this baby and theres no replacment for her.I know even when I don't understand God see's and is in total control and always has the very best plan.I have to continue to have Faith and trust in my heavenly father. Please pray for my baby. Rhonda |
Rhonda, Has there been any xrays done on your baby's neck?? Reason being is that there are other things that could cause this also. And the one thing I am thinking of goes undiagnosed a lot. It did with my baby. I will pm you with more details. |
Thank you I will read the info on the site .Many Thanks.XXOO |
Update! All 4 of the test from the Neurologist came back negative.(see above post) Now the doctors think her circling is behavioral. If anyone has experience with this behavior and knows some training techniques I welcome any and all advice. She is a bundle of joy.Blessings |
Was she crated alot before you got her? I know puppy mill dogs do this behavior (im not calling her a mill dog so please dont think that). Dogs that are kenneled alot circle in their crates because they have nothing else to do and it becomes a habit Forgot to add... I groomed a puppy mill rescue dog and all she did on the grooming table and in her crate while drying was spin in circles |
Bless her heart.Thats so sad.Has she gotten better when she comes to get groomed? |

Rhonda, I am so thankful to hear all the tests came back normal. How old is your little one now? Prayers for this to work itself out, she is so lucky to be blessed with you, with your TLC am sure she will be fine. Wishing you and yours a wonderful day. Patti and Baby Blessing |
I don't know how I possibly missed this thread!! Just want you to know that I will be praying for your baby and a very positive outcome! |
Thank you You are so sweet.I just wish I could do more for her.She just loves Smoochie. He lets her have her way he is so humble. All we know is we have had every test to find out whats wrong and its nothing medical.Shes healthy!Praise God!I work with her by placing her between my feet and walking with her. I also use toys to distract her so she will focus on them and walk straight. She is a sight out of this world when shes playing it just thrills our soul to see her happy. She will be 6 months old the 7th of Feb. |
Prayers I know there is power in prayer and I'm standing firm in my faith that her health will be restored Amen. |
Sorry I just saw the thread, I am so happy she is doing better....but for anyone that might think there baby has L/S because of going in circles...When they have liver shunt and go in circles its not just round& round they circle the whole room, like the outside next to the walls...and they walk around like on a track or something really weird and its really hard to watch....:( |
Rhonda - I just read this and I am so sorry to hear about that. I hope everything is alright and you can get some answers and comfort. That poor girl. She is blessed to have a mommy as wonderful as you! You are all in our thoughts and prayers! Please keep us posted on everything! |
update!!! It's Been 6 Months Since My Babys 1st Vet Visit.she Has Seen Many A Vet's,specialist, neurologist And Has Had Test On Test.just Had A Cbc T4 Super Chem.every Test Comes Back Fine(her Numbers Are Even Better Than Smoochie .)the Last Vet We Traveled To See And We Will Continue To Take Her To Agrees With What I Have Said All Along Her Circling Is Behavioral.my Baby Has Gone From Circling 100% Of The Time When We Brought Her Home To Walking Running Bossing Smoochie Around(he Is So Humble) Plays With Toys, loves Everyone.she Doesn't Barkloves To Go Bye Bye. Her Circling Has Decreased To 40%.she Prescribed A Medicine.(for Compulsion) And Very Intense (separation Anxiety).a Terrible Start In Life And She Now Knows What Good Ol' Loving From A Southern Momma Is And She Doesnt Want Me Out Of Her Sight And I Very Seldom Am.she Really Likes For The Entire Family To Be In Her Sight.we Pray That With Time And Consistant Love She Will Know She Is Stuck With Us All Her Life.thank You God For My Gift Of Faith And Answered Prayer. |
Good to know your baby is doing okay now. My girlfriend has a yorkie that turns in circles all of the time. She is completely healthy and normal other than the circle thing. I think she was caged alot before they sold her and that is why but who knows. |

Wishing the best! Oh my, your poor baby! I'm sending my prayers that your baby will be ok! Maybe since it's behavioral, she will be able to get over it over time ??? Please take care yourself! It is a very stressful time for you and your family. |
Thank You Very Much! Quote:

Great! I'm glad your baby is doing much better. My little one was a tad sick, and I was so worried, so I can't imagine what you went through! Oh yeah if you can, please visit Japan! It's great! I'm American, btw. My husband is Japanese. Just get a good guide book 1st (I suggest Time-out: Tokyo)! |
