Wookie is not doing good again I don't know whats wrong with him. He's back to being lathargic, and out of it. He is usually bouncing off the walls, well now, nothing gets him up. What's wrong with my wookie?? He won't eat his crunchy dog food. My little baby is sick. So the vet suggested i take him in for x-rays today since everything else is normal. I'm really sad, i feel so helpless. Why can't he just tell me what hurts :(  I feel like such a bad mommy. He's been sick since last friday. |
OH poor baby! I know how it feels when one of your babies is down and out! Its sooo frustrating to not be able to figure it out and fix it! Hang in there and good luck at the vets! They will figure it out Im sure and make wookie feel much better |
Hugs to Wookie...I don't know if this will help but chanel had a mystery illness - 2 vet visits and bloodwork found nothing really wrong except for a little elevation in her bloodwork - what they called very mild pancreatitis - he explained it was more of an inflamation than full blown pancreatitus - but my baby had the poops for 3 straight days....after almost 5 days she was ok but I was falling apart with worry. Keep him hydrated and if you really feel scared I would try another vet visit. Sending Wookie get well wishes and I hope he just has an upset tummy - maybe too much Christmas ??? |
So sorry Wookie is not feeling well. Wouldn't it be great if they could tell us what's wrong? Hope you can get to the bottom of the problem soon. Feel better soon Wookie. Carol & Buddy |
What did the xrays show today? Did you get them done today? Please keep us posted! Poor little baby! Mojo & I are sending hugs and prayers his way! |
I just got back from the vet. Blood work showed nothing, no x-rays.. they said it wasn't necessary. The vet said it might be because of the medicine. He might just be having a reaction and not wanting to eat. So i got him some wet food and mixed it with his regular food and he gobbled it all up :D If he isn't better by tomorrow, then they think it might be valley fever or something like that  But to wait and see if he is better by tomorrow, and if not, then he's going back to the vet. Good thing is that he ate today.. yaya :D  |
How's Wook today so far? I hope he's all better:love: |
Yes, tell us how Wook is doing, I have been worrying about him too...hope he is doing better today!!! |
Hello! Best wishes to you and Wookie. Poor baby. I can understand your pain. My Chuey is recovering from pneumonia. Not because I didn't get him to the vet, but because the first vet we saw, four times for the same thing, said he was just too small and that he was gonna breath funny for the rest of his life. Anatomical abnormalities is what he called it. Ya right, an xray later, pneumonia, and two days in the hospital! Wow! So please be careful and best wishes to your little baby! We'll be praying for ya! Raquel and Chuey |
Heres some info on a yorkie named Tanner who had Valley Fever http://www.thepetcenter.com/gen/Tanner.html |
I am so sorry he is feeling bad i hope he gets better really soon!! Your not a bad mommy look at how much you are worring about him you are very loving! |
did the doctor mention anything about hypoglycemic? did you try giving him nutrical? boil some chicken and white rice for him... most dogs love them or some cheerios but not too much cheerious. does he have loose stools? worms cause them not to eat sometimes. ask your doctor... |
Awww, Wookie, I'm so sorry you don't feel good. Hang in there, little guy, your Mommy is doing everything she can to make you better. She is the best Mommy in the world and loves you more than anything. Sending prayers and hugs and Roxy sends a whole bunch of warm get-well puppy kisses. You'll be back to your old self in no time. |
