| New Update On Babybear Hi our YT family, Babybear and I just thought everyone would like a little update on how things are going. Well yesterday my little guy tried to walk on his own. I was sitting in a chair about 4 feet away from him. He was on the floor with blankets all around him. He stood with his back feet and tried to walk forward. His front feet did not move the way he would have liked but he did move a little forward. He then fell on the floor. Thank goodness I keep a few blankets around him. I don't want him to re-injure himself. He still hasn't gotten his cart back from the cart maker yet, but hopefully when he does he will be non-stop go go go. This is a big step for him. His front legs aren't as strong as his back legs. Hoping the cart will help out there. His back legs if I hold him he can stand for a good 5 minutes. If anyone has any suggestions on how to get the front legs stronger please let me know. I do his physical therapy and water therapy on him. Hope to walk by Christmas. He is a tough little cookie. | Vee, I am so glad to have everyone here to route me on. I dont' know what I would have done with out everyones help here. And I have another group I go to that helps alot to Congenitaldogs@yahoo.com They are great there also. With out all the help from both groups I dont' know what I would have done. Every little bit of support helps and makes you want to go that extra mile to do what you can. I hope I have suceeded with Babybear. So furbabies with this disorder that Babybear has do not make it. I count my blessing every day that he did. Thank you all again for all your support. It is greatly apprecated. Val and Babybear. PS. Going to be taken Christmas Pictures of him this weekend So we will share with you all. |

| Ah, Val, I missed this. I haven't been able to be on very much lately. It's so good to hear that he tried to walk. I hope to hear that he is walking by Christmas, too.
