| Sorry that your furbaby is still sick. Sometimes kennel cough lasts a while. I'd take him back to the vet just to play it safe. Maybe he needs another dose of antibiotics. Good luck!

| I hope he's feeling better tonight. I know how scary it is when your little dog is sick. How many shots did he get? In the future, please insist that he only gets one shot at a time to minimize any side effects. My dog is almost 5 now but her vet only gives her one shot at a time with a two week break in between. She is only 3 pounds and hasn't had any sickness from them so far. |

| When my yorkies get upset bellies, I cook some instant white rice and mix it with small curd cottage cheese. Just mix it 1/2 and 1/2. It sounds nasty but they will lick the bowl clean and it settles their bellies. Good luck!

| Vaccinations do lower their immunity so maybe he hadn't quite gotten over what was causing the cough. Did he get the bordatello vaccine (given by injection or in the nose)? If so, this is probably the cause of the cough. The majority (if not all) of the veterinary schools are only recommending this be given to dogs that are boarded or participate in shows or are otherwise exposed to many dogs and even then it should be given two weeks prior to the activity since it is only good for about 6 months. |
