| Strange Reaction to food! I found a soft dog food that I thought was good for Diesel but for some reason he can't handle the rice in it. I have been feeding him Evolve for almost a week. He really LOVES it. He has thrown up twice since he has been eating it. I fed him this am around 10 and about 2 hours ago he threw up. All he threw up was the rice!! I thought this was rather odd since he ate boiled rice just fine with no problems. I am going to feed him the Evolve anymore and just go with the dry Innova. That seems to be working well for him. Any idea why this happened? Or has it happened to anyone else here? ALSO does anyone suggest a certain kind of soft food? I usually feed him some soft in the AM and he gets dry food the rest of the day. I am open to any suggestions.

| I feed Nutro Ultra dry on a regular basis, but had bought canned for my new litter of puppies. I bought Ultra Chicken, Salmon & Lamb and, of course, the adults, got to try it first (everyone is a little spoiled with babies around) and two out of three vomited. I tried it once more with the adults and the same thing - since I bought a case I took it back to Petsmart. I bought the Chicken, Oatmeal and rice Nutro formula for sensitive tummies and no one has vomited and even the puppies have been having this with good stools. |

| I haven't bought anymore Evolve and Diesel is doing just fine~! For some reason it didn't sit well on his stomach. So I am back to the old standby. He LOVES Cesar Puppy food. I know it isn't good for him but for what ever reason he seem to do really well on it. He also STILL loves the Innova. SO that part is a keeper. I guess we all like to eat junk food at times!
