He usually throws up green when he hasn't eaten, a few times it has been this white foamy stuff.Anyone else's yorkie do this/ I'm wondering if I should call the vet? Heck, she is going to break my bank! The vet here near Solvang Ca. is so darn expensive. |

| White foam could be a simple stomach irritation (like grass), reaction to a wormer or tonsillitis. Is she drinking and eating fine? Check her temperature and if all is well there I think I would be comfortable just keeping a close eye on her. |

| My Mom's maltese gets tonsillitis a lot so I called her and she said the first thing she notices is that she doesn't want to eat, but there is no temperature with tonsillitis. |

| Normal rectal temp, is 100 to 102. Vets will tell you they don't have a temp until they reach 103. It's a good idea to know what temp your Yorkie normally runs so you can judge it by her normal temperature. |

did have loose stools also. I never saw white foam before. It was like bubbles that fish blow and was sticky. He had an upset stomach, the vet could find nothing else wrong. Hope that is all that is wrong with your baby. | |

| I also use a human digital thermometer lubricated with KY Jelly (it's water based so it's much better than using vaseline). |

| When I first brought Hootie home, she was throwing up white foamy stuff. I took her to the vet and the vet said that it could be from eating grass or a reaction from her wormer. She told me that as long as she isn't throwing up food, then she is fine. The throwing up stopped very soon after. Hope little Rocco is alright. |
