| Throwing Up I'm so sad because the last couple of days, my little guy has been throwing up. It looks like a yellowish bile and it's not his food. He's still playful and running around, but I'm scared. I took him to a doggy hotel this weekend, but he is completely up to date on his shots. I called the vet and they said to keep an eye on him, but he's probably fine. There was throw up on the floor when I woke up yesterday, when I came home for lunch and then again this morning. I've never had a sick pet before! What do I do??????? |

| I would call the vet again, this AM. Just because he was away at the Doggie Hotel over the weekend. Maybe he caught something from another pup.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | My dogs will throw up the yellew bile when their tummy's are empty. How often are you feeding him? I would call the vet since he was around other dogs recently.

| If it's foamy and yellow, he is most likely just emptying his stomach of bile (stomach acid). Feeding several small meals throughout the day usually helps. You can also give 1/2 of a Tum's. |

| I wouldn't panic just yet. These little guys have sensitive tummies. Take him to the vet if he loses his appetite, is fatigued, or acting unusual or has diarrhea. Most of the time the yellow bile is from empty tummies. I panicked and took mine to the vet and nothing was wrong with her

| Sounds to me like an empty belly too.... Keep an eye on him, he probably needs to eat more frequently, even if it is a little bit. This keeps the tummy in check!!... I have used a small amount of Pepto in the past and that helped, but usually if you can get them to eat just afterwards, they just go about there happy way... Try not to worry... But since he was at a doggy hotel, he could have caught something.. You are being a good mommie!!! |
