| When the vet told me to give my Daisy, who is 5lbs, Benedryl it is 1/2 of a Childrens Benedryl. I dont remember the liquid dosage, I bought her Grape Chewables. I give it to her because she licks her paws in the fall, thinking its allergies and it helps, but she does get sleepy and sleeps very good, because she snores when she gets it

| When Ellie had an allergic reaction to a vaccine, the vet said to give her 1/2 tsp of childrens every four hours. I think twice a day would be right if your pup is just itchy.

| I have a 5 1/2 lb yorkie with itching issues. The vet told me I could give her 2 ml every six hours if necessary. |

| My girl weighs 5 -1/2 lbs., and was very itchy. She no longer needs it much, but when I give it to her, the vet prescribed 1/4 of a grape flavored tablet every six hours. Be careful though. This was all based on her current health, and her weight. Good luck.
