Legg-Perthes disease OK....hopefully someone out there has experience with this and what I can expect. Sir Max was diagnosed today with Legg-Perthes disease; Avascular necrosis of the femoral head. The vet is sending the X-Rays off for a radiology tech to review and confirm. It sounds like the course of action is therapy first, and if not successful, then surgery. Poor little guy....just went through the neuter and now this! I really don't want to do the surgery but if he's hurtin I guess I have too. Anyone have experience with this? And if yes....roughly what did the surgery cost as of course I am not a bank  |
Here's a link to an owner that just had the surgery. You could private message them and find out the costs and such. You send a private message by clicking on their name and then Send a private message link. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37369 |
