Just called the vet's office - sounds like Benji is doing great! She said he jumped into her arms when she opened the kennel this morning, and they are going to try to offer him food tonight, might be able to come home tomorrow! I guess I don't have to try to tell you how happy I am right now! Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers - every little bit helped I am sure. I will update tomorrow.

We are so happy to hear the good news, and know how happy you are. Just love that little guy and hold him close and give him a gentle hug for us and puppy kisses from Baby Blessing. Prayers for you to have many happy healthy years ahead with each other. They are such precious ones. When you mentioned the litter box, I was wondering are you potty training him to a litter box? Might give some thought on using the pee pads, thats what we are doinig with Baby Blessing and it has worked out great. I have not been too hep on the litter boxes, but that's just my opinion. We look forward to your future posts and how Benji is growing and doing all the fun things.

I would worry more about "his not going to the bathroom" then I would about his not eating.

For sure - if he hasn't been passing stools - he needs to go to the vet. So - you did the right thing.

They still had him on an iv today, they said he had a little diarrhea last night, but he hadn't been throwing up, they will wait until he is not doing either before the start feeding him, so it still might be another couple days. They said he is doing a lot of yipping - I can imagine, he hates to be alone.

The litter box is for our cats, we usually keep a baby gate up to keep him out, but once in a while someone doesn't put it back up when they go thru. Such a nasty habit!

Hi, So glad to know Benji is home and doing real good now, thanks for getting him to the vet and glad you have one that is more caring about the needs of a sick one than the $$$$ we are praying things will be getting better for you and your hubby financially, life gets tough at times but guess we grow stronger and learn through them, we have found God always provides us with our needs. Hope you have a wonderful Mothers Day and with Benji home it will be.

Yes, tough times make us stronger, and God finds a way to give us what we need when we need it. I keep saying it is a way to keep us humble (gotta find something positive about it! LOL) It will get better, we go thru these times occasionally. I have spent the last few days setting up a web site with affiliate links for pet products, so maybe I can find a way to at least help with the vet bills. I do want to thank all of you so much for your prayers and encouragement. It helps so much when going thru a tough time that you know somebody else understands how you feel! God Bless you all!
