| Update..asap..help...now HE IS HOME.....................That was one heck of a 24hours......I never thought I could love him like I do. We walked into the vet around midnight and they asked if we were here for Tyson, said yes and she went to the back and out came the nurse holding him, she handed him to us and he just squirmed right out if my arms he was beyond happy.......he was just runnig and running around the front of the vets office crying and squeaking, he would run up to me and just squeak and squeak and I would pick him up and he would try and get down, run around the office, run to his dad and just cry and squeak some more, he just did not know what to do with himself. He ran to the front door, look outg and cry and cry and look back at us. I finally just sat on the ground and let him just run and squeak, give kisses....he was unstopable. The vet fron last night was on again tonight and as Ty ran past him like a bullet he asked is this what you were trying to tell me was his normal behavior............... ..we all just smiled. He said I see why you brought him in in such a hurry....if you are used to seeing him anything like the way he looks now, then him sleeping and waking up dazed and swaying was a far cry from his normal behavior...we spoke a bit about what happened, the vet feels it was a seziure, the dat vet said she felt is was deydration......I was trying to make myself believe that but I cant...since his blod work came back all normal, to me all the internal stuff is ruled out, glucose was normal, white blood cells normal, no infection, he doesnt have any type of cancer or his blood work would have been all over the place, the vet last night said th eonky thing he thinks is he could have had some type of head trauma..............and that what he pretty much said thats what was going on his chart...I mean we watch him like a hawk, but he does go off into the bedroom by hiself, but we have that and bathroom gated off, sorry I am rambling, it is getting close to 4am, dad and ty went to bed..........Fell asleep and its 9am, fell asleep on the couch and woke up to a puppy laying next to me on his back with all 4 paws in the air, Yorkies are the best.....I guess we will see what today brings, he was sooooooo happy to be home he ran all over the house and he is running around his old self right now...........The vet he was at ended up taking out his stitches so we did not have to bring him back today for yet another dr visit, I know Ty is very sick of the DR. His poor little leg where his IV was for his sx his hair was just growing back and then they had to shave it all again, it look like a little chicken leg.......THANK YOU ALL SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH, every single one of you were such a help................TYSON sends big hugs to all his yorkietalk friends.......happy saturday............will post more when I find out what his vet thinks after I call and tell them Ty went to the ER and I had his stitches taken out there since I refused to dragmy puppy back out to another vet today..................thanks for everything |
