I'm so glad to hear you had a good visit with your vet and that you got antibiotics for the infection! No charge...way to go! Your vet sounds a lot like mine...he's so nice and giving and caring! Best wishes to Cash for a speedy recovery!!! |

Thats strange to me that they put those collars on them. My Vet has told me several times that dogs "licking their wounds" are natures antibiotics. That they have healing and bacteria inhibiting enzymes in their saliva??? Has anyone else ever heard that??HMMMMM |
golly , i am just seeing this post. not been on much lately. Hope he is doing better by now. give him granny kisses for me. that stuff to keep them from licking sounds like a good alternative. I have used onsies with good success. only thing is, i put them on backwards so as the snaps are on the upper side. i didn't want them rubbing the problem area. I hope his infection clears up fast. poor little feller. :ittykiss: Tressie goes in for her 'fix' in a couple of weeks. then when she has recovered it is Archie's turn. then we are done. Hugs from all of the crew here. :ghug: |
