| You can ask the vet to try a different pain medicine because there are a lot out there. If you can get him to eat before the meds that could help to. I hope you find out what’s going on.

| I have been through this with both of my boys at different times. They were in so much pain that they could not turn their heads. They had pain meds and an anti-inflammation med ? I gently massaged their neck/shoulder area for 30 minutes at a time. Articles I read said that this helps increase blood flow to the area to help heal. Fortunately my boys did not have spinal disc problems and they both recovered fully. Praying your Max will receive good news too and recover quickly.

| My thoughts are with you! Our little white poodle, Beau, has had back issues twice. Our vet gave him pain meds and steroids. With bed rest (being held and cuddled 24/7) for a week, he recovered fully both times. Hoping your little man is soon pain-free too! (((hugs))).
