| Raider humps all his toys Raider is 4 years old and has a problem. He humps his toys and then his penis won’t go back where it’s supposed to be. I’ve tried putting Vaseline on it and helping it back in. Sometimes it will stay out for a day or more. We try to keep the hair trimmed on the covering(?), but he really doesn’t like that and we’re afraid we are going to cut him. We’re afraid he will get an infection and it obviously makes him uncomfortable. What to do? |

| Take the toys he humps away. If it stays out for a long period of time he needs to go to the vet.

| If he hasn't been neutered, he's likely miserable feeling urges he cannot fulfill. And Taylor is right, I'd remove those toys until he's treated. From everything I've read, a congenital anomaly of the prepuce could be the problem causing the issue and protracted extrusion with the penis growing dry can result in inflammation and infection. I'd let the vet see him first thing and distract him from humping until he's vetted.
