| Worried can some one help? Bella had a small spot on her head we noticed last week. Today it seemed to be much bigger with a scab on top of it, it looks like some kind of wart or somthing and i panicked it was skin cancer straight away. Bella has been to the vets this evening, vet said it looked like a wart at first but said she is very young and its not likley to be that due to age (bella is 3 in july) she said it could be a blocked duct liek oil or hair. She said it didnt look cancerous because its growing upwards instad of in the skin, she said it looks like it will get longer.... im just worried cuz the vet said touch wood its nothing serous which scared me cuz she didnt seem to sure then... just wondered if anyone else has had spots like this and what they did etc just so i can put my mind at rest im going out of my wind with worry here is a picture of bellas spot on her forhead http://i50.tinypic.com/6fnrtc.jpg

| that looks like a wart to me also but im no vet. usually cancerous ones are very uneven in the circular pattern and do stay more flat than a wart. anyway you can get another opinion to be sure?? i would just be worried also and better safe to follow ur gut if you think the vet may not be sure. i tried googling some photos but none of them are even close to what bella's looks like hopefully others will have more advice to offer. prayers for bella that this is nothing serious.

| warts tend to explode out of the skin especially before they are about to be gone so I would bet its a wart. |

| If you make the top-not too tight, it cuts of circulation, the skin dies and then a scab forms. The hair will never grow back on that spot. I hope this is what it is and not cancer!!!

| I'm not even sure what a wart on a Yorkie would look like so I will trust these others and go with wart. If I had no answers previously, I would say something like what your vet said - looks like a blocked pore/zit/ingrown hair to me.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Cali has something similar to that by her ear on top of her head. The vet aspirated it and checked the cells it was something like a plasma cell cyst or something like that. It was nothing to worry about. Hopefully Bella's is nothing to worry about either.

| Wart near ear My Millie has a bump that looks identical to your baby's bump. I took her to the vet two weeks ago when i noticed it and she said it was a wart.It just started to get a scab. Was going to bring her back tomorrow. Not sure if I need to now? |
