Please pray for his return
 
I feel terrible asking for your prayers, but in the past YT's prayers always helped us and so I am here again asking you pray for Teddy's return. We just got back home and were unloading stuff from our car, normally Teddy would be waiting in the car for us to come pick him up, but my 4 year old opened the door and he ran away. Normally I would run after him straight away, but I had 4 year and 2 year old, both with fever, so I had to get them back into the car and we went searching for Teddy. We were wandering for a hour, but couldn't find him. I had to being the kids back home, as it was past their bedtime.As I am typing this asking for your prayers, my husband is still out there looking for him. I am so mad at myself. I should've put a leash on Teddy, but we were coming from my parents house and had no intention of going anywhere so he was unleashed and without a tag. He just had a bath (so no tag either).
We would be putting up posters and stuff. But please please pray for his return. I fewl so bad.

Keep going out and searching. Those who find runaway dogs are often out and about every so often waiting for the searcher to come looking! Keep cruising the immediate 2 block area around your alley and house all hours of the day, calling out for your baby by name. You never know when you will see that person who is waiting for you to show up! Good luck!

Thank you. I am so worried. It happened at 9pm, and it's already almost 11pm where I am from. My husband is out printing posters. I just hope somebody picked him up. It's killing me thinking he might be out so late.

Buckle those kids in the car with toys and treats and go out and search - windows open and calling for him. Keep circling around every 2 hours or so.
Likely he's gone up to some house looking for water and attention, someone will be out waiting for you. Don't lose faith that someone of good will has him!

We went looking for an hour, my kids were getting sick again. My oldest just threw up all over his bed, so it is only my husband out there searching.

I feel so guilty. Guilty to my kids for dragging them around looking for Teddy even though they are sick and got fever. And so guilty to Teddy for not being able to go search for him. Please please pray for his return.

Sorry, missed that part about them having fever and of course, our kids come first. I'll pray for them, too, poor babies. You know of course when is best to call the pediatrician. Lord knows guilt is part of being a kid or pet parent and we have to balance out their situations vs. the plight of that toy dog in the heat of summer, plus their fear and distress over losing their beloved family dog on top of being sick, feverish and so symptomatic - I know your are closely monitoring them.

But being a toy dog lost in the summer heat is no small thing once he runs low on body fluids and can't get water. Hoping and praying for the best for those babies, skin and fur!!! I pray someone got him and has him in the A-C with a nice cool bowl of water and is watching out the window for those looking for him. Be sure to call his vet, other local vets and his microchip company, local city dog shelter and all local pet shelters to alert them your baby is missing. Good luck and blessings to you all. Hoping and praying for good news.

Please keep us informed when you are able about Teddy's situation. Would like to know when he gets home safe and sound. So sorry this had to happen but these things happen when we least expect it and at the worst possible times like having your sweet children sick and feverish only makes matters so much more stressful for you all. Thanks for writing and asking for prayers as you have had them before and as you said it helped before.

Thank you for understanding. My 2 year old is doing better, but my 4 year old still has a fever. He threw up like 3 times last night and kept waking up crying. I barwly had any sleep, but when I managed to fall asleep, I kept dreaming that we found Teddy. It's terrible to wake up and realized we had not. Please keep him in your prayers.

Thank you. I am a firm believer in the power of prayers. I've asked for YT's prayers before and our prayers have always been answered. I always try my best to look after my kids and the dogs, but unfortunately things happen. It's not like he has not run away before, but he had a tag so we always managed to find him quickly. He just had a bath yesterday so we took off the tag. I am over analazying everything now.

If he has run away several times before, I guess I would never, ever have him off a leash - not under any circumstances whatsoever. If you take him in the car, a leash should be ON him even in the car.

Also, if he is known to run away - why is he not chipped?!

Do tons of posters, post on NextDoor.com, call shelters, get him chipped ASAP if you get him back.

I hope you find him. And if you do find him, I hope you take better measures to keep him safe since he's been lost multiple times now :(. Best of luck.

Still praying and hoping for good news on Teddy and those kids feeling better. Once we had a member with a Yorkie who was lost at Disneyworld for 3 weeks and on their third(I think it was, including looking immediately after she escaped the hotel room as the first search) return there to look for him someone reported he had been captured and directed them to where he was being kept. I may be a bit fuzzy on some of the facts but it was 3 weeks later that they got their baby back at that place, where all kinds of wild things are living in the area and thousands of people who could have taken him! It was a near miracle to all of us! So toy dogs seem to try to stay in the immediate around where they last saw their people it seems to me if they don't get spooked or lured to follow another dog or cat. Blessings and keep us updated on all your babies when you can.

Lost teddy
 
I am a true believer in the power of prayer. I ask our Lord Jesus and He hears every prayer I ask. He will help find Teddy and bring him home. Posters and check shelters. Plese let us know. I had a Yorkie named Teddy so I will remember his special name. You had to care for the children. Don't look back. PRAY

Thank You everyone for your prayers!!!!! Teddy is back with us again!!! Some kids down the road found him and called us when they saw our posters. They said he was so picky about his food they were worried he'd starve himself.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get this poor baby micro-chipped ASAP.

You've lost him many times now, and there is really no excuse for that in my book. At this point, it'd be neglectful and unloving to not get him chipped.

OMG what fantastic news, poor sweet little boy must be so hungry and soooo happy to be back with his family. PLEASE keep his leash on no matter how short a trip may be.See how accidents can happen. You may not be lucky the next time he runs off. He could get killed by a car. After I give my boy a bath I make sure he is DRY, then put his collar with his tags on before I even let him out to pee pee which is my fenced in yard.

I will be thanking the Lord all day for the answer to our prayers Teddy is home. A VERY HAPPY ENDING. Blessings to the family who returned him. I am so happy for you. Mr. Teddy needs a collar on at all times. Im sure he is glad to be back home again.
