Yorkie Yakker | Double Surgery a Success ! Our little girl Tela is recovering quite well from a double surgery this past week , she had to have a splenectomy and an elongated soft palate resection done, I was so so afraid and concerned about all this but I am glad she went trough it very well. Th soft palate was becoming a serious problem especially during warm and humid weather, it was so bad that we had to use a cooling pad for her to sleep on at night , even with the A/C running in the house, the spleen was diagnosed during an ultrasound and X ray test that was done to check her rear pelvis and patella. I am so glad we had this done since we would have no idea of having a spleen problem. Th elongated palate was the first surgery performed since it was nearly impossible to have her intubated to have the splenectomy done. The first few days were the most painful for her but now she seems to be back to almost normal. I thank you all for your kind replies and GOD Bless ! Last edited by muffy; 03-02-2017 at 07:57 AM. |
