Anyway...I went ahead and contacted the person who we know in UT. She is about 2 hours from Salt Lake City. PLEASE let me know ASAP what your intentions are. You asked for help and I am trying my best to help. I just don't know there is a time constraint here....it does not sound like Roxie can be like this much longer...and if we don't get some kind of answer tomorrow into Wednesday, I fear we will be unable to save her.

I am sorry you are having to go through this and I am trying first to get help without you surrendering her. That is not always easy to find. You said you wanted to know if a rescue would take her and help her and yes, that is what we do.

I hope that is not the case; but I am beginning to wonder. I am also wondering if some of our "well meaning private message folks" are involving themselves in this. I am extremely worried about Roxie. These are the situations that make me lose sleep...and every time I swear never again.

IT is odd though in that I did tell her I have another idea. BUT time is of the essence here as the OP said. She needs to contact me and try that option...and then if she does not succeed in getting the money, make a decision that is in the best interest of her pup. She does of course have an option of humane euth but that is sad to me when someone is offering to save her. I have done all I can...the ball is in her court.

Oh my I sure hope not. Some of them have no idea what they are doing and just make a situation worse.
I'm just have to pray for this baby.

Yes, they are the best I have seen and very reasonable. The ladies who do this are awesome...they donate all of the supplies and make these bands and give all of the proceeds to the Haven pups.

Sadly it happens a lot. I am hopeful, but at the same time bracing myself for the fact that I may never be able to help this one.

Why you ask? We who have been here for years have wondered that for years.... so hard to understand.

There was one years ago here on YT who had a pup who was screaming in pain....it was horrible. I spoke with her on the phone one day and heard the poor baby screaming. I had nightmares over it. We tried to help the owner get funding and it just was not there...it was thousands. So, YHR stepped up and took her in and raised the funds for treatment...but then we were the bad guys who "stole her pup". Thank God not everyone acts like that. I have had so many nice people surrender their pups...with the only request being that we help the pup and find a wonderful home. I have always stayed in touch with the surrendering owner for as long as it takes for them to feel OK with all of it. I have even had adoptive parents stay in touch with the previous owner...but of course that is rare.

I do pray she has found help locally with friends or relatives and Roxie is getting treated & not still suffering. When you plead and ask for help it is common curtesy to let others know what is going on, especially when others have reached out so quickly...

I had no idea they donated all the supplies and then gave all the proceeds. I knew they donated to YHR, but didn't realize to what extent, amazing!!! They quality and workmanship is awesome! Their customer service is top of the line! They go above and beyond to their customers and are super fast, when I order they usually have them to me in SC in 3 days, they are amazing!

The other thing is that someone on here could be jumping at the chance to get a "free tiny pup". I hope the OP is savvy enough to avoid the trap....

To the OP: If anyone here is trying to get this pup, PLEASE check them out thoroughly. I personally don't care...as long as Roxie gets the help she needs. Anyone who wants to take her in should have references...and you should personally call their vet and see if they have done routine dentals on their pups over the years. If they don't have a good track record in that respect PLEASE do not turn her over to them!

PMs on this forum scare me. A lot of damage can be done.

Yes, they really are amazing! They have been a real blessing to the Haven pups. I met them here on YT.

So, you just never know who is sitting on the other side of the computer.
They also are always willing to help save pups in the Houston area with other things like transports and the like. Truly wonderful people!

This lady was quick to answer in the beginning but what happened? If she does not respond soon then I guess we know it was bogus. Too bad if this turns out that way.
