| Weird Skin Scabs? Near Private Area Our Yorkie has some sort of rough skin patches near his private area, almost like scabs. They've gotten worse over the past few days. Is this just something like a bruise that'll go away, or could it be something more serious? It doesn't seem to be bothering him. http://www.pokebeach.com/junk/2015-12-18%2014.01.13.jpg http://www.pokebeach.com/junk/2015-12-18%2014.01.19.jpg http://www.pokebeach.com/junk/2015-12-18%2014.01.27.jpg http://www.pokebeach.com/junk/2015-12-11%2014.16.40.jpg Sorry for the doggy porn. |

| The yellow bubbly skin looks like infection. I would get him in to see a vet ASAP. He likely needs oral antibiotics. If he has been wearing belly bands, discontinue using them immediately. Keep the area as clean and dry as possible, and open to the air. Best wishes for your little guy.

| I meant "open to the air" above. No clothes or belly bands or bandages over this area.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | This is an infection and will need antibiotics to get rid of it. They will likely just do a cheap, easy skin scrape to diagnose it. Please do it ASAP as this can and will spread if left unchecked...
