Ty Dottie, Oh yes! I learned my lesson the hard way about waiting at least a week between meds. The thing is, this little girl has had some other health issues, and I think in my own dumb way I want it to be the Sentinel so that it won't turn out to be her liver, or some other serious problem. For her sake, poor little baby. I just want her to have a fun happy long life. Because of the lack of knowledge about her history, parents etc…I know that anything is possible with her. Mentally I was prepared to help her and still am, but boy does it do a number on your heart when a happy little baby goes thru so much this young:( How she stays so cheerful and fun is beyond me, lol |
I feel for you having a pup with one health issue after another and an unknown health history. You must always worry that a new issue will come up and that is very stressful. Hopefully the longer you have her, the more you will know about her and your confidence will improve. Praying that you are over the health problems now and she will settle down to a healthy happy life. :) |

I did speak to her about it, and she said "Its very unlikely that its the medication" thats causing her symptoms. She basically said she had non-specific symptoms, then did 2 X-rays and a bunch of blood work…all was normal except for slightly elevated white blood count. Thus the reason for going in again next week for a fasting blood work, I think its called liver panel. they said 12 hour fast, bring her in first thing am, they will do first blood test, feed her and take another an hour later. Well, after all of this I am not using Sentinel anymore. It might have nothing to do with all of this, but I'm going back to Revolution which is what I have always used before with no issues. |

Hi everyone, Sunni has been doing great all week long. I'm having trouble trying to find a day that I can bring her in for the blood work. Vet doesn't open until 8:00, and I have had meetings everyday this week at 9, meaning I have to leave by 8:30 to drop my son off at his day program. This is one of the difficult parts of being the sole provider around here…they all have special needs, lol…..my need is another one of me!! |
It came to my attention that I forgot to post Sunni's Blood work results. I've been pre-occupied. They came back perfect! We will go back in 3 months for a re-test just to make 100% sure. |

I am very releived!! For Sunni at least:) But one thing at a time for now...I'll take it..A happy healthy Sunni, makes me happy. |
