She did update....scroll up!!!! Pup was to the vet!!

There may have been a delay in the post because she is a newbie........

The vet said it was all probably caused by her reproductive organs since she is not spayed which caused the inflammation/swelling, licking which led to an infection which led to the blisters. Thanks so much for the update, so glad to hear that she is okay! I was so worried for her, especially bc you said she was under that car...so worried about antifreeze since dogs are so attracted to it.

That's great you're getting her spayed, it sounds like this will alleviate future issues :).

Thank you for updating and glad to hear that getting her spayed with alleviate this from happening again. I did notice that she that her vulva was very swollen and the thought that she might be in heat. When is her spay scheduled? Is she feeling much better today?

and as I posted this it posted immediately :D

I took her back to the vet this morning because although she was getting her spirit back yesterday and was playing and eating but she would not stop licking all of her sores and blisters and they were starting to turn a funny color. He looked her over again and said she does seem to be healing but gave her an antibiotic shot that should stay in her system for a week to stop any sores from becoming infected. He also gave us a cone but we are going to go to petsmart and get a better one. Hope these sores heal quickly!

We are scheduling her to get spayed next month! The vet has quoted us at $200, would you say this is reasonable?

Good news, glad you are taking good care of her! Poor baby must be uncomfortable as heck. Keep posting, I don't know how many it takes but you may be in the clear by Admin. Take care and keep us posted.
