About the chicken and rice, a lot of people do home cooking for their Yorkies, so that's not a strange suggestion. Yeah I kind of felt like I got trick out my money because he didn't do much for him. Are there vet that specialize in yorkies? Yeah I think today I'll buy him baby food the chicken and rice and add Karo seems honey would be too sweet

There are vets that have a large client roster of Yorkies or even small breed dogs...small breed dogs like Chihuahuas and Yorkies and Poms need vets that are familiar with small breeds as they do require different approach to solving problems than large breeds....
I would try the PLAIN CHICKEN BABY FOOD, not chicken and rice! I am a little confused about how old this baby is....6-8 weeks old?? You want to keep this as simple as possible for this baby....this baby is just not too far off still nursing if he was still with his momma....he is more into licking stuff up and just beginning to learn to chew gruel or softened kibble....the chicken baby food is easy for him to lick it up, they usually love it, and you will be getting food into this baby, which he desperately needs. Dont worry who he is going to right now...he is going to follow the food! If you are feeding him, that is where he will go! Just get food in him and when he get to be around 12-14 weeks old, he will expand his family skills.

you know what your right I guess I needed to hear it from someone else something didn't feel right like he should have done more I Google and found out more info then the vet told me! When I first got him he's tummy was do bloated still kind of is he was deform since I was thinking maybe the worms came back or parvo if not the sugar level I'm going to try Karo as soon as I get home. How much does snap test usual cost?

He's 7 weeks he was 6 when I got him, okay so plain chicken okay I'm going to try that this evening lol your right my husband's just a little jelly! I hope it's just the sugar level I'm going to get his dhp this Sunday since he will hit 8 wks

She got him at 6 weeks of age and now he's almost 8 weeks old. By all means follow Yorkiemom's advice--she has a LOT of experience nursing young Yorkies along. To summarize:

(1) See a vet who has experience with toy breed dogs. Consider getting him tested for parvovirus.

(2) Feed chicken baby food for a couple of weeks.

(3) Try Karo syrup instead of honey.

(4) Give him Pedialyte to drink instead of water.

(5) If he doesn't stop shaking really really soon, get him to the vet right away.

Yeah I always add water he won't eat it with out the water to moisten it! He's been normal eating normally just yesterday he wasn't his self diarrhea and throwing up and shaking

I'm going to get the baby food and Karo tonight and check out a view online review about a new vet how long do you think I should wait if the shaking continues?

like she said in our experience you should not wait to long to see another vet if he is still shaking. where he is so young they can really decline very fast.

The Karo and baby food should act very quickly if it's hypoglycemia, within a half hour. If he's still shaking after that, please take him to the vet right away. And if he's still vomiting and has diarrhea, take him to the vet ASAP and have him tested for parvovirus. He's still very young and small, and small puppies can go downhill rapidly.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE wait on getting any shots until your baby is feeling better.

For goodness sake, if this pup is sick, do NOT let anyone vaccinate him!!!!!

I would go to another vet or ER if any of the symptoms you described are still going on.

oh my...you should really get yorkie for dummies. no offense but why would you even consider doing vaccs right now when your not exactly sure what is going on with bossy. please do not do more than one vac at a time and wait in between once he is healthy enough to go forward with vacs. I am not trying to be mean or rude in saying this it just doesn't seem you understand how important it is to make sure he is healthy and ok.
