Teddy update Teddy's stones are not gone. He is having a procedure next week to squeeze them out of his bladder. They are going to send the stones to the Univ of Minnesota stone center. This just stinks, we've tried two diets to dissolve them and they failed. He's not a typical case so this does seem like the best option. The biggest risk to this is that his bladder could rupture but it is unlikely and even if it does they would just take him to surgery and fix it. She does this all the time and is very hopeful she can get these three stones out. I wish he had better news :( |
Very sorry to hear diet did not take care of the stones. Praying for sweet Teddy for the procedure to go well and for a speedy recovery. |
Poor Teddy......he just never seems to catch a break :( |
Poor little guy. I'm sorry and will pray that it goes well that day. |
Poor Teddy, well it sounds like he is in the BEST hands possible, hopefully this will take care of it once and for all, he needs a break...for sure. Will he have to go on another special diet or is the diet he is on now going to be best? |

Poor Teddy. I'll be crossing my fingers! |
I am so sorry. Poor Teddy really gets slammed a lot. :( Praying that this gets resolved quickly. |
Poor Teddy, hope the stone center will have some answers...Teddy is very special. Hope he's not in too much pain & will get better real soon! |
Thank you everyone. Teddy should do fine. I'm am praying they can get all three of these stones out. I feel he is in good hands and the vet is at least grabbing the bull by the horns here and trying to offer something different to try to solve this. The good thing is that Teddy has no idea. This has been a very frustrating problem but it's not the worst thing to happen to a dog. |

Cathy, good luck with Teddy's treatment. Gosh, between you and Linda I can't even keep track of who's pup is being treated for what..... bless you both for looking after your precious fur kids so well. |
