My baby was diagnosed with a UTI. He is on antibiotics now. He has been on them for a few days but is still spotting blood with he pees. I wondered if anyone knew if I can give him cranberry juice to help? He is 7 months old and weighs 3.5lbs.

I would ask the vet. Usually that won't help with the irritation or bleeding, it just helps flush the bacteria a little. He might have a resistant strain and need a different abx. If he is still bleeding monday, I would definitely call the vet and see if he needs a recheck.

He has a recheck appointment in another week. I figured the antibiotics would take some time to work. I think he's getting somewhat better. It's not all blood when he pees now. Just a little here and there but he's still going about every few minutes if he's up and about. I feel so bad for him. We did get him some diapers so he doesn't lick himself and because he sometimes can't make it to his pad.

Did the vet do an x-ray?

No they didn't. They wanted to do a urinalysis but wanted like $90 and I just couldn't afford that on that particular day. They wouldn't do it and let me pay 2 days later when we got paid.
