Many healing thoughts for Cassie! |
Praying for Cassie! I wish your comfort and support through this difficult time. My Golden retriever had a rare form of cancer in his skull that caused him to lose his eye and it was very traumatic for us, but he was still out hunting birds in the trees. So even if it is cancer, it may not be the end of the world. Dogs are amazing little creatures and everything happens for a reason. Things like this, i am not sure what that reason could possibly be but i know what your going through. Andy being my first Yorkie, i have never went through anything like this. But over the course of 12 golden retrievers, there was ALOT of cancers. If there is anything you need or need advice, reassureance, support, an ear, or ANYTHING. Please feel free to message me. Big or small, animals are our children and when they are sick, there isnt anything anyone can do to make you feel better other then your baby feeling better. Thoughts and prayers are with you, cassie, and muffin. |
happy to heart things are improving, prayers for your Cassie |
Wishing the best for you & Cassie |
I am keeping Cassie in my prayers she gets well. I can just imagine how exhausted you have been. |
Prayers up for both you and Cassie. |
Still praying for Cassie. Sending hugs to you, Cassie and Muffin too. |
Update Talked with the doctor on call today, (this is the only doctor that I do not care for), and she says Cassie is still at 30% O2 and they are unable to wean her any lower than that, as she then begins to turn purple again. They are wanting to do another x-ray today to see if her lungs are healing and there is any more progress. Eating okay, but progress is limited, still the same as yesterday. Still sitting on pins and needles. |
I was hoping Cassie had shown much improvement but miracles do happen and we are all still praying for you and Cassie. Stay strong Cassie and we are sending many many prayers. |
They have not started the homeo mixture I brought in because they have to give it by mouth 3X every 10 minutes, and the doctor says she gets too stressed out by all the manipulation and her breathing is compromised. I am somewhat puzzled because all they have to do is just fill the dropper halfway, open her mouth a teeney bit and squirt. They can do this while she is in the cage, it doesn't seem like there would be much manipulation at all. This doctor is the pits, and I will call my holistic dr. to try to talk to her. I think even I could do this without too much stress to her, it would only take a second, not even. What are they talking about? I am so annoyed and stressed. Excuse me for being so cranky, but this doctor does not like homeopathic medicine and I am very stressed. Especially since there is no improvement from yesterday. Blessings to all, Love Shellie:confused: PS-The 3X every 10 minutes is just a loading dose, it only happens once, then it is 4 drops every 4 hours for 3 to 5 days. |
