Keeping Max in my prayers. Cali just had a tumor removed from her lip that was suspect for a Melanoma. Luckily it was not.

I saw this earlier on fb. I hope max pulls thru fine and it's nothing. I hate how it's so close to his eye. Makes me so squeamish! I'll be thinking of you both.

No more trials and tribulations for Max...I'm going to pray very hard for the best possible outcome ever. Sending you a hug as well, try to relax and trust your vet is doing the right thing for him.

sending many prayers that it will go away and is not cancerous. try to take deep breaths and clear it from ur mind the best you can. being stressed will only stress max out about it. sending many hugs and prayers.

Thanks everyone. I'm trying to think positively. Max is a very strong pup!

My new concern is that I can't feed him tonight and tomorrow morning. Max always throws up bile when he's hungry and not fed.:( Should I feed him around 2 or 3pm some extra kibble?

Maybe give him some Pepcid?

Btw....is there a chance the vet could aspirate the cyst? I suppose if he could, he would've already said so. It just seems like there has got to be a way to get some tissue/cells to biopsy this area.

I am keeping Max in my prayers that all goes extremely well tomorrow and it is benign. I would check with your vet and let them know you would like to give him a little bit of food as he gets sick not eating for that long. They can tell you for sure. Prayers for you to be optimistic and you know we are all here...just give a shout! Hugs to you and Max.

He's afraid of damaging his eye because its such a sensitive area. He also said that such a small piece would be aspirated that the results could come back inconclusive. It's something we can do in the future if cryosurgery is unsuccessful. I don't want Max's eye or vision permanently damaged if I can help it.

Give pepto in morning and night?

Not pepto....pepcid (omeprazole). I give it to two of my pups twice daily. They are on 1/4 tablet (the 10mg tab) .. you might want to ask your vet about it if you feel better doing that.

I just fed Max now. The vet said it would be ok as long as it wasn't late in the evening. He should be ok for morning.
