Personally, I would not feed her again. Her tummy needs to rest! |
dog Now what are you feeding her? Are you feeding wet food and leaving it down a long time? Really check what she is eating and she should probably be on a bland diet. See what the vet says. A lot of times the food they eat affect their behavior. Boiled chicken, and a little rice is what I use. I will pray for little miss Pixie to heal up soon. |
The Vet suggested bland diet: boiled rice chicken, nonfat cottage cheese, or ground turkey or boneless boiled chicken breast. That is why I tried the nonfat cottage cheese. I am not feeding her again till morning I agree her tummy needs to rest I am hoping that she keeps her breakfast down. |
I hope she continues to get better. It's hard when they aren't feeling well :( |
Hope Pixie is feeling better today. |
Oh no! Just now seeing this... Praying for dear Pixie and you. Baby food meats are considered a bland diet (chicken or turkey). Beechnut is better for sick dogs, IMHO, has less fat, and no corn starch than Gerber's. |
1 Attachment(s) Thank you everyone for your prayers Pixie is feeling better this morning she kept her breakfast down. She is in a need for a bath but we are going to give her a break today so excuse the messy face:) I was so worried, I still have no clue what caused this, but like I have said bf Pixie is a little snail she is a bottom feeder. She looks for things to eat. I have to keep cheerios in a dish to give her one to drop something that is in her mouth that she shouldn't have. So I am guessing she ate something that she shouldn't have:( |
So happy to hear this.... hoping she continues to improve! |

I'm so relieved to hear this. She is such a beautiful, cute little baby. |
So happy to hear that Pixie is starting to get better. Praying that she continues to return to her sweet self!! :) |
Thank God she's getting better! I'm so relieved to read this and can imagine how great you feel. Some of these little guys sure have sensitive tummies and just any little thing can sometimes tick their tummy off while some seem to have cast iron stomachs for life. My Scotty(3.4 lb. Yorkie), my first Yorkie years ago, could eat anything his whole life and never turned a hair. Go figure. |

Ya know, I wonder if she just had some sort of gastritis. This time of year with all of the warmth, there are all kinds of germs hanging around. I hope it was just like a short little bout of flu/gastritis. |
Poor thing ! Get well soon ! Make me sad to mine not feeling well |
I am very happy to hear Pixie is feeling better, looking better, and kept her food down this morning. Big relief! Praying she is back to 100% quickly. |
