Update on my babies 1 Attachment(s) They are doing better, Bentley is more active. He was so weak when I took him in. My other baby Nina is great shes hyper as usual. Im hoping I get to bring my babies home with me tomorrow. Although the vet cant reassure me anything he seems to be more alert and everything should be okay. Thank you guys so much for your prayer and kind words. I would not have been able to go through this alone. |
That all sounds hopeful! It does. Some dogs are too weak to walk with this and have made it. You are on top of everything and that is so key with Parvo. So many Parvo deaths are with dogs left home while owners work and not all that much careful nursing at home or vetting when needed. I can't help but think Bentley will make it through this and that Nina is well along beating this disease already. Just keep doing what you are doing and update as you can. Many prayers are going out for your babies and you. Stay courageous and strong for them. |

Just seeing this! Wanted to give you more reassurance that yorkies can survive parvo... Our 2 year old had parvo about a year ago. The vet never suspected this because he had received 5 rounds of shots as a pup. He thought he had a blockage in his intestines and opened him up for exploratory surgery... It was then he discovered he had parvo. He gave him little chance at survival at this point due to the surgery, but he is a little fighter and came through! (He is also a blue born... One tough little cookie!) prayers for your babies, and sounds like they are doing so much better! |
OMG!!! So sorry to hear your three babies are sick with parvo and so frightening to know that they still can get it after they are vaccinated. Makes you want to put them in a glass house to protect them. |
