1 Attachment(s) The most important part of the surgery is the post op care, My vet drummed it into my head. Phoebe really is cute and she does look sad. Oliver looked the same way but all the suffering pays off in the end. Phoebe will be as good as new. Here is Oliver after his surgery. |
Oliver Oliver looks sad but very cute. Glad he had successful surgery and is doing well now. As I have said before, I was ill prepared for the length and intensity of aftercare. I was told it would be hard, but words are easier than actions!!! But it all turns out for the best in the end. |

Yorkiedaze Thank you. I am so glad you had a great vet and hospital for your girl's surgery, as it does help to have caring people to guide you through this. It seems that the surgery for dogs is so much more complex and the recovery more tedious and lengthy than it is for humans. We need good support! (By the way I did address my query to Cherie in the Title line as she was from SoCal as am I) It is helpful to know of good specialist vets and facilities in any area, thank you. |

Cherie Oh I am sorry!!! I thought you were talking for your dog! Anyway, hope YOU are doing well! I did wonder how you saw the eye clarity in the dog, but thought the cataract must have been very bad and you could see the difference. With my dog I could not see any change after. |
