| Problem with my Yorkies eye Hi everyone. So I was just playing with my Nicky and I noticed something on his eye. From a distance it looked like a fuzz or something.. When I got closer however I saw that it was a scratch with a teeny bubble next to it right on the darker inner circle (pupil). I don't know how it could have happened (no cats, sharp objects around) but I do know that it can't be more than 2-3 days old as I would have noticed it. He's acting totally normal, doesn't shut it or anything of that nature. Should I be worried? Have any of you guys had this happen? Will it heal on its own? Any advice would be great. Thanks guys! |

| Its a corneal ulcer and it wont heal on its own you need meds from vet. You need to get him to a vet right away or it will get much worse.

| This. Get to the vet, they will give you antibiotics for it that will hopefully clear it if you have caught it early enough. If not they may be required to operate to fix the eye or remove it. Don't leave it to get worse! |

| Yes, it's an ulcer. Anything could have scratched it (a piece of debris in the air..anything). Please get him to a vet for meds asap. Praying he'll be better soon!
