| Poor Tink is sick! Today is day 2 of diarrhea so I called the vet and made an appt for tonight. I'm really glad I did because she still has diarrhea and she just vomited. Poor baby!!! |

| Is she drinking, getting fluids and Nutrical to tide her over or eating? If not, can you give her some until the vet visit? I'm SO glad you are going to get this little one checked on - losing all that fluid is bound to make her feel bad and it could be something needing some treatment. Keep us updated on the little thing, please.

| She ate her normal amount at dinner last night and she ate some breakfast this morning. She is drinking. She's not acting really lethargic....she actually brought me her ball to play fetch a little bit ago. And she is ticked that Tilly (our ACD) is getting her daily walk but I decided to keep Tink in. I will definitely keep ya'll updated! |

| Oh, good news she's getting nourishment, fluids and upbeat! Finding out what is causing that diarrhea while she's still feeling okay is the thing to do! Good for mommie!

| I agree! I definitely didn't want to wait until she was really dehydrated and really sick! She's so little, that can happen pretty quickly. |

| The vet appt went well. No signs of dehydration. The vet gave me Flagyl to give her. He checked her stool but didn't see any parasites. He gave her a dose of Strongid to cover her in case anything's brewing. He said no dinner tonight then tomorrow start with small amounts of Canine ID. Then gradually work her back to her regular diet. Tink's not too happy about the no dinner thing. And I have discovered that she is EXTREMELY difficult to get a pill into! LOL But hopefully, she'll be back to normal in a few days. |

| Tink slept well last night and no diarrhea!! Yay! This morning, she got her meds and I gave her a little bit of her Canine ID. She gobbled that right up. I'll wait a couple hours and give her a little bit more and then gradually work her back over the next several days. She had a half normal half diarrhea poop a little bit ago. So it seems she is on the mend. I am SO happy my little baby is feeling better!!! |
