I will definitely mention that in the morning. Fecal, parco, guardia came back fine but she ghrew up while at the vet and there was blood and bile in it. We are coming back in the morning and are going to run more tests. we may even have to admit her to TAMU vet school. We want a full blood workup, culture, etc. They say she has colitis (her colon is very badly inflamed) we started an antibiotic for now but will be back in the am for more tests....

She is acting totally normal, happy...oh, and she is apparently 6.8 pounds...she was 5.4 when she went to the vet last for the wasp sting. That was probably three weeks ago...:eek: I can't believe she gained so much weight and wonder if it was the steroid that did it.

Prayer going out that they can find out what is wrong with her. It does sound like it could possibly be those seeds that are problem. Yes steroids can cause weight gain fast.

She's home with you now?

If she continues with bloody diarrhea and/or bloody vomiting... get her back in to the ER... they may be able to do the PCV on the blood they have... call and request it be added (if they're still there).

Check her gums for color and moisture now, so you can compare it if she starts acting off. If they are very pale, I'd get her to an ER anyway.

Did they do an xray to check for a blockage?

Carmen, I am praying for Luma and you that the antibiotic helps her right away and that the test results return good news.

Hopefully next time you take her into the vet ASAP.. We can never be to careful.

Hoping little Luma is doing better.

This is why we were all telling you, back on the 18th, to take her
to the Vet. These little ones can go from Bad to Urgent in no time....

oh carmen, just reading this now, I thought she was over the last hump. I can\'t imagine how worried you are, poor little thing, sound like you are getting good care. Sending prayers and love your way and hoping for some good news.
