She went inside (which she never does).. then she ate it... then she threw up the poop on Brody's bed and blanket. Then she whined to go outside and she had bad diarrhea again :( |

Aw! Poor Sophia! Maybe she picked up a bug from the rain recently... in addition to her food sensitivities. I hope she feels better soon... Just a note: the probiotics I use say to double the dose during times of stress... does the kind you're using say it's good to do that? |
Poor baby... Just wanted to say I hope she feels better soon. |
I had to see a dog dermatologist who recommended venison for the itching. If it is a food allergy you want to stay away from wheat and corn. I would check with your vet and make sure things are stable from having the loose stools. Yorkies are so small you have to be extra careful with them when sick. I hope your little one feels better soon and can eat food and have a normal stool. Prayers for healing. |

Has Sophia been to a specialist and/or had a complete GI workup? It seems like you are trying so many foods and if there is something else going on, changing foods may be an exercise in futility. I hope you get to the bottom of it soon. Such a frustrating situation. Will keep her in my thoughts and prayers...and you, too. |

Well, she made it throughthe night. Still hasn't pooped yet this AM. She is getting a nail trim at 1:20. I hope she poops before then so I can brin a stool sample. Just to clarify, I've been switching foods because she is itchy, not because of the diarrhea. I think she just really doesn't do well on the new one I tried. |

Sounds like you need to work with a vet on this one. When there are stomach issues I know the vet uses the specialized canned Science Diet foods that are easy digestible. Be careful she does not get dehydrated from the very loose stools. She is acting out of character which worries me. I would seek professional help really soon. Prayers for a quick recovery for precious little Sophie. |

Sophia & Brody had nail trims today. She still hasn't pooped, so I wasn't able to bring a stool sample. I asked the vet tech about her diarrhea and she brought the vet in for a second. Gums good, stomach felt good. He said it was probably the food, but if it continues this weekend to call on Monday and even though they're booked they'll squeeze us in (and to bring a stool sample). Sophia worked her charm on him & he didn't charge us! AND I returned the food today.. Exchanged it for the kind she was on before. And he felt bad so they gave me a 10% off my next purchase! Talk about good customer service!! |
I hope Sophia gets well and feels a lot better. Susan |

So glad sweet Sophia is better. My Spud had a tick in his fur on his head. It is a good thing to check our dogs after walks and outdoor activities to get these ticks if there are any. |
I'm glad to hear that Sophia is doing better... Food can change a lot with these little guys. |
Glad shes all better! :) |
