Wylie sweetie get better soon!! You have a brother and sister to drive crazy. That doesn't happen on its own. ;) Glad your mommy hasn't lost her sense of humor. |
Oh gosh...he looks SO out of it! Poor pup :( I hope he's back to his old self real soon. |
Awww...poor baby with his nekkid bottom! I'm glad that his surgery went well and hope for a speedy recovery! |
Awwww man, that picture is so heartbreaking. ((Hugs)) to Wylie-Man! |
Ann, that warm moist wash cloth to his little TT may work just as effectively om Wylie as it does on humans! Next time he has to pee and he is hurting and wont let go of it, ,put a warm wet cloth on his TT, kinda to the middle and back so he can pee out the end of his penis....it may relax him enough that he can go.....Bless his little heart..... |
Poor Wylie I hope you feel better soon! Wow both legs at the same time Buster had only one done and he was so uncomfortable. I think he did not poop for two days. Best wishes Wylie HEAL! From a website Even if you have regular bowel movements prior to having surgery, you are likely to experience post-operative constipation. Exposure to anesthetics and narcotics, alterations in your diet and fluid intake and reduced physical activity contribute to this constipation. |
Oh poor baby |
Ann, is there a specific reason you decided to do both legs at once? Just curious, because my mom's Pom is going to need it done and so we have been talking about it recently...when my neighbors did it with their dog, they told me there was no way they could do both legs at once and that it was way too difficult in recovery. Poor Wylie! That looks rough! Hope he feels better soon! |
awwww.... Riley and I sent extra hugs and hope for a speedy recovery!! xoxo. :) |
Sending prayers for speedy healing. I didn't know they could use their legs, I thought that they had to have no movement for a few weeks, I'm glad that's not the case. I've heard pumpkin is great for the intestines, it stops diarrhea as well as relive constipation, so maybe a tablespoon of that might get things working. That was always one of the worst parts of surgery for me, lol, next time, I’ll try pumpkin. Wylie’s is probably extremely proud of his man package, and he should be! I'm not showing it to Joey though, I don't want him to get a complex! |
I hope he has a speedy recovery |
That may just be the saddest dog picture I have ever seen! Get well soon, Wylie, you are breaking our hearts! |
Poor Wylie :( |
AW poor little guy he looks very sad in that picture. I pray hes on the mend soon. Its so hard to see your little one like that huh |
Poor Wylie:( Both legs at once must be hard to figure out how to PP. My Benjamin had 1 done & did great & was up & runnin in 2 wks time. I hope Wylie is as good as Ben was in 2 wks. |
