				 | Poor Sophia! Finally, her staples are out and her incision is healing nicely! She's FINALLY been able to play and wrestle with Brody!! But now she has really bad diarrhea . It started Friday morning, and I thought it was going to be an isolated incident since she has a really sensitive stomach. It's still going on, so I'm calling the vet tomorrow right when they open to schedule an appointment. She had a 3 or 4 month bout of diarrhea back in november. Blood work was fine, changing foods didn't help, and used antibiotics 3x. Eventually she was dewormed and then was fine (even though her fecal was negative for worms). I'm still not convinced it was worms, and I really hope that we can figure out the cause of this diarrhea. She's eating and drinking normally. She had a normal stool last night, so I thought we were in the clear. But, the poor thing was up every two hours last night. She REFUSES to go inside, so she was frantically whining to go outside. My poor baby could have gotten a free pass about going on the carpet, but she didn't She's such a sweetheart and I really hope she feels better soon. Please keep her in your thoughts. I attached a few pictures of her from yesterday.

				 | Oh no! That's no fun at all... I have to keep mine on probiotics with each meal... it floods their system with the good bacterias needed for proper digestion and elimination, and keeps the bad bacterias from taking up residence, especially important if they've been on antibiotics for anything. Mine used to come down with diarrhea almost everytime it rained. We have a bit of a drainage problem in the yard and it can take a few days to dry up after a good rain. And always in the spring they'd go through it. So far, like 3 years now, the probiotics have had it under control... no vet visits or medication to treat it. I use this: Nature's Farmacy - Store - Product Details= I read somewhere that giving your dog Probiotics is the one best thing you can do for them.

| YT 1000 Club Member | Oh Sarah, I can't believe they are both now sick. Could it be water-borne if not food-related? I hope the vet can figure it out in the morning and make them both well again.

. It must be water or airborne . Im hoping some antibiotics clear it right up. I hope they get better in time for them to go to their first obedience class, i wouldn't want them to be behind!

				 | Sorry this happened. I hope it is short lived illness and easily fixable. Earlier this year, my Yorkies had doggy flu ( Coronavirus), for the first time ever. It started with Rubin and went right down the line. Upset tummy, and runny poo. Each doggy was sick for one or two days. Worrier that I am took Rubin to the vet right away. I know routine vaccinations do not cover Giardiasis, some types of Leptospirosis, and Coccidious. So I never take the risk of waiting.

				 | Oh no Sarah, I just woke up from a nap and saw your text and now your post I hope that the vet can give something to get them better Jada and Bogie went through this last summer. All the testing came back negative and we never did find out what caused it. Jada started first and then Bogie got it. Mine rarely go outside so we don't know what it was. Sending prayers that Brody and Sophia are better soon.

				 | Just an update. I set my alarm for 7:30 to call the vet, but Sophia was still sleeping. She slept through the night . Brody's stool was solid this morning and now I've just been waiting for Sophia to go. If it's still runny, I'll give the vet a call then. I still can't believe she hasn't gone yet!
