But what one wonders is what Vet did actually examine your pup prior to placement and give a good bill of health.

I truly am so so Sick of hearing of Bad Breeders here on YT, that pass on not only the Financial Burden, but the more Huge Toll of Emotional pain on the owners.

My heart goes out to you and your Gal. You are the best Mom to her. Finding out what is wrong and doing your best in concert with the specialist's to give your gal the best chance of quality of life.

We will be here for you to support you as you and your Gal go through life. I believe the Universe loans us, for just such a short time some special dogs to love and to care for.

This is such a sad thing to happen to your poor sweet Maggie and to you. I live in Georgia and would really want to know who this "breeder" is so I can warn others looking for a Yorkie to love.

This breeder is going to find out a very sad truth....it is going to cost her dearly, trying to skirt around her responsibility for the life of this baby.....She will be ruined and loose any and all credibility, if she has managed to hoodwink the public into believing she is trustworthy at all. She will truely rue the day she abandoned a critically ill baby that she was responsible for bringing into the world in the first place. And "gemy" is right...YOU have NO fault in this tragedy.....you are the one that is standing by this baby girl supporting and loving her until the very end....a time limit is put on a contract in order to keep the buyer from taking the puppy home, and then doing something that injurs the baby, and then tries to blame the breeder for the injury and wants to return the injured baby for a refund. IT IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE CONSIDERED A TIMEFRAME WHERE THE BREEDER CAN SIGH A SIGH OF RELIEF, THAT THE PERSON FAILED TO TAKE THE BABY TO THE VET SO, "OLLIE, OLLIE, OXEN, I AM HOME FREE!!!": TOO BAD, SO SAD, ITS YOUR PROBLEM NOW!!! This is obviously something this baby was born with, and the breeder is absolutely worthless for not accepting responsibility for that dying baby.......Again, I am so sorry for you and what you are going thru now....

Oh, I am just so sad. Poor little Maggie! She didn't deserve this. You have been her angel. You have shown her what it feels like to be loved and secure. You've been her voice and advocated for her. It's so hard to understand why things like this happen. I am sure that seeing Maggie suffer just breaks our Lord's heart. He didn't cause this. She is the product of mankind's selfish and irresponsible nature. The Lord loves and delights in all of His creation. And He loves sweet Maggie too. Please know that you aren't alone. Thank you all again so much; you just don't know how much you help. I'm not able to sleep so good tonight. I keep checking to make sure Maggie is still breathing:( All the fluid pill seemed to do so far is make her pee a bunch. Even though the cardiologist said she wasnt in "pain", I can't stand to see her like this. If she's no better by Wednesday night I'm going to have to put her to sleep. I just can't handle it knowing she's struggling to breathe and get comfortable. My heart is as broken as it has been in many years:(

My little Kiwi developed CHF when she was nine years old. I haven't been able to get the sight of her struggling to breathe and the image of the fear in her eyes, even though nine years have passed. Kiwi was able to come out of CHF for a while. We care so much about what you and your little girl are going through, and we are here to listen to and support you. I have seen dogs beat the odds and live far longer than doctors thought possible, even those with CHF and my littlest one, Gracie, who lived several years longer than expected with a collapsing trachea. You are a great mom. I know it's so painful for you to see Maggie like this, but I also believe that miracles happen. Please don't give up hope.

I will definitely try to hold off as long as possible but any possibly of her suffering I just don't think I can bear. Keeping my fingers crossed and faith from the good Lord above to do what he sees fit and just keep her out of pain. Thanks for all the encouragement.

I am so sorry this is happening.

That's what the fluid pill is supposed to do, and how it will help her to lose the excess fluids. Give her some time on the medication to allow her body to rid itself of the fluid. She should start to feel better soon.

I sure hope so. But I fear that with her heart in such bad condition the fluid will probably just build back up. Hoping for the best tho. Thanks!

I sincerely hope that she at least offers you a refund, though that won't help your broken heart. At least you would recoup some of the funds spent at the vets/specialists. Bad breeding makes me so ill, and this is why, nice people and innocent animals suffering:unlove:

I don't know if the fluid in her chest is still causing that or if it's just her little heart. Still no word from the breeder either!! Please keep praying for her!!

Maggie took a turn for the worst tonight. She could barely hold her eyes open and completely stopped eating drinking and pottying! It was everything she could do to get her breath. I know she was in pain really bad so I had to call the vet and get them to come in and put her to sleep. I know she is much better off now and I will never ever forget what a sweet girl she was. Thank you all so so so much for everything and every prayer!

And just for who ever wants to know the heartless breeders name it's Carin Mulligan out of toccoa ga and her address on the papers say eastanolee ga. She sold puppies on eBay and hoobly.com.

I am heartbroken hearing about Maggie. Her life was far too short, but she knew what it was like to feel really loved. You will always have a soft spot in your heart for your little girl. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Sigh...I'm so sorry to hear about Maggie! I would definitely warn others of this breeder. I know that our contract stated if we did not see the vet within 48 hrs the health contract would be null and void. BUT you think she would at least contact you and reassure you that she would follow through with testing on the parents and agree to NOT breed them again. I thought they were suppose to have testing prior to breeding but I guess not all breeders do that. : ( Sending gentle HUGS!

Well I have spent alot of money on her so far and I am going to see what rights I have from here. I will see what a lawyer will charge me to pursue this even if I don't have a leg to stand on. I owe that to her since she couldnt speak for herself!

My breeder just emailed me and said that she would make
It right and give me another puppy in the spring. I am soooooo happy and will def have this one checked out before I take him/her for good. Just want you guys to know!!!!

That is wonderful news! I am so glad she reached out to you, there doesn't seem to be anything "bad" about her and she is a Christian...so hopefully this will all work out nicely...I hope she stops breeding the pair that produced Maggie and I hope she notifies the other owners...

I just read this thread...I am heartbroken for you. Its good that the breeder finally reached out to you, I was really praying she would. Maggie knew you loved her from the moment you got her...memories of her will comfort you and give you some peace, you will never forget her. RIP sweet baby Maggie.

Yeah my thoughts exactly. Lol. I'm just so excited to get me a new puppy and love and spoil her/him like no tomorrow. Little Maggie is greatly missed already and I can't wait to keep my promise to her!!!
